Introductory Seminar consists of exercises in which students actively participate. The exercises include: reading and interpretation of bibliography, search and interpretation of unpublished sources (as well as introduction to the institutions that keep them), writing and use of terminology, analysis and interpretation of architectural plans and drawings, identification of architectural types, style analysis; in sculpture and painting genres, techniques, style, and iconography are analyzed. Selection of case-studies of methodologicaly more complex objects covers the geographical areas of Slovenia and neighbouring territories.
